SIEF CO2MOF Project

Overview

The CO2MOF team in conjunction with the Science Industry and Energy Fund (SIEF) “Solving the Energy-Waste Roadblock” project aims to discover, develop and deliver next-generation carbon capture technologies based on Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs). Below is a summary of the MOFs synthesized by the team, including solved crystal structures, calculated pore characteristics and measured gas uptakes. Future work includes the bench-marking against current technologies, the development of pilot-scale modules and the scale-up for industrial use.
